How can you make something new?
Engineers use the objects they have to make something new. They think about what the object must do. They find the parts they need. They assemble the parts into something new.
Objectives: Students will design two structures that can be assembled using the same set of blocks.
Procedure:
1. Think of a problem that you can solve by building a structure from a set of blocks.
2. Build the structure you have designed. Take a picture of the structure you have built.
3. Think of a new problem to solve by building a new structure. You must use all the materials that you used before.
